Fragmented builds apps and web applications.

A small software company from Hoorn, the Netherlands. We build everything ourselves, from the server to the app on your phone. As simple as possible: little code from others, fast, and made to last for years.

Happy Hacks

A gratitude journal. Every morning and evening you fill in a short routine: a few questions, and how you feel on a scale from 0 to 10. Your journal shows how you're doing, how often you filled it in and what you wrote.

  • A challenge every month, an inspiration every day, and in the afternoon a quote that fits the month and the weather where you are.
  • In Dutch and English.
  • Works without an internet connection too.
  • Free on the web, soon also for iPhone and Android.

About Fragmented

Fragmented was founded by Niek Botman, a web developer with more than twenty years of experience in JavaScript, PHP, Rust and Java. Today we are a small team.

We prefer to work without frameworks and libraries. Code you write yourself is code you understand and can fix. That keeps a project small and fast, and just as easy to maintain five years from now.

Happy Hacks is made that way too: plain JavaScript and PHP, and for iPhone and Android a thin layer in Swift and Kotlin around the same web app.

You can find us at Westerdijk 52 in Hoorn.
